Gathering
Using the differential feed, a single layer of fabric
can be gathered before sewing it to the garment.
For example, sleeve heads and lower edges,
yokes, lace edging or frills.
Adjustment:
• Stitch: 4-thread overlock
• Differential feed: 2
• Stitch length: 3-4
• Cutting width: 2-3
Increase the needle thread tension (6-8) for a
tighter gather.
Fruncido
El transporte diferencial hace posible el fruncido
de una sola capa de tela. Por ejemplo en mangas,
puños, puntillas o volantes, etc.
Regulación:
•
Punto: overlock de 4 hilos
•
Transporte diferencial: 2
•
Largo del punto: 3-4
•
Ancho de la costura: 2-3
Tensiones de hilo más altas (6-8) aumentan el efecto
de fruncido.
Sewing in tape
The standard presser foot is equipped with
a tape guide. A tape can be sewn into the
shoulder or side seams of garments made
from knits or stretch fabrics to prevent
stretching.
• Turn the handwheel in the normal direction
(as indicated by the arrow) until the red stop
mark of the handwheel indicator is centered
in the window.
• Raise the presser foot and swing it out.
• Lay the tape under the presser foot and
slide it carefully into the tape slot.
• Swing back the presser foot and lower it.
• Sew a few stitches on the tape.
• Loosen the setscrew (A) and adjust the
tape guide to suit the width of the tape (B).
• Re-tighten setscrew.
• Raise the tip of the presser foot and place
work underneath. Sew.
Coser cinta
El prensatelas estándar está equipado con
una guía-cinta. Durante la costura se puede
guiar una cinta de tela o elástica de una an-
chura de hasta 9 mm. Ideal para reforzar cos-
turas transversales en tejidos de punto o para
coser cintas elásticas con bordes cortados.
• Gire el volante en la dirección de la ß echa
hasta que la marca roja Stop esté exacta-
mente en el centro de la ventana de indi-
cación de la posición del volante.
• Subir el prensatelas y girarlo.
• Colocar la cinta debajo del prensatelas y
meterla por la parte derecha en la guía-
cinta.
• Girar el prensatelas en posición de costura
y bajarlo.
• Coser algunos puntos sobre la cinta.
• Aß ojar el tornillo regulador (A) y adaptar la
guía-cinta a la anchura de la cinta (B).
• Apretar el tornillo regulador.
• Levantar la punta del prensatelas, colocar
la tela debajo y coser.
Einreihen
Der Differentialtransport ermöglicht das Einreihen einer
einzelnen feinen Stofflage. Zum Beispiel an Ärmeln,
Bündchen, Passen, Spitzenbesälzen oder Volants.
Einstellung:
• Stich: 4-Faden Overlock
• Differentialtransport: 2
• Stichlänge: 3-4
• Nahtbreite: 2-3
Erhöhte Fadenspannungen (6-8) verstärken den
Kräuseleffekt.
Fronçage
L'entraînement différentiel permet de froncer
une fine couche de tissu, par exemple sur les
manches, en bordure, sur les passepoils, sur les
parmentures de dentelles ou sur les volants.
Réglage:
• Point: point de surjet à 4 Þ ls
• Entraînement différentiel: 2
• Longueur de point: 3-4
• Largeur de couture: 2-3
Des tensions de Þ l accrues (6-8) renforcent l'effet
de fronçage.
Band annähen
Der Standardnähfuss ist mit einer Band-
führung ausgerüstet. Während des Nähens
kann ein bis 9mm breites Web- oder Gum-
miband mitgeführt werden. Ideal zum Ver-
stärken von Quernähten in Maschenware
oder zum Aufnähen von Gummibändern an
Schnittkanten.
• Drehen Sie das Handrad in der vom Pfeil
angegebenen Richtung bis die rote Stop -
Marke genau im Fenster der Handrad -
Positionsanzeige zentriert ist.
• Nähfuss hochstellen und ausschwenken.
• Band unter den Nähfuss legen und von
rechts in die Bandführung ziehen.
• Nähfuss zurückschwenken und senken.
• Einige Stiche auf dem Band nähen.
• Stellschraube (A) lösen und die Bandführung
der Breite des Bandes anpassen (B).
• Stellschraube wieder festziehen.
• Nähfussspitze anheben, Nähgut plazieren.
Nähen.
Pose de ruban
Le pied standard pour le point surjet est
équipé d'un guide pour ruban. Pendant le
travail, il est possible d'accompagner la
couture avec un ruban élastique ou tissé
de 9 mm de large au max. C'est idéal pour
renforcer les coutures transversales dans
du tissu à mailles ou pour poser des rubans
élastiques sur les bords coupés.
• Tournez le volant dans le sens de la ß èche
jusqu'au stop rouge qui doit se trouver
ensuite exactement au centre dans la
fenêtre du volant.
• Relever le pied-de-biche et le faire pivoter.
• Poser le ruban sous le pied-de-biche et le
tirer dans le guide par la droite.
• Remettre le pied à sa position normale et
l'abaisser.
• Piquer quelques points sur le ruban.
• Desserrer la vis de réglage (A) et adapter
le guide (B) à la largeur du ruban.
• Resserrer la vis de réglage.
• Soulever la pointe du pied, placer
l'ouvrage. Piquer.
