You must perform the following tasks for a successful IRF setup:
Save the configuration after completing IRF configuration.
Execute the "irf-port-configuration active" command to activate the IRF ports.
[Sysname-irf-port1/2] quit
[Sysname] interface gigabitethernet 1/0/1
[Sysname-GigabitEthernet1/0/1] undo shutdown
[Sysname-GigabitEthernet1/0/1] quit
# Save the configuration so the IRF port settings can take effect after the device reboots.

mad arp enable

Use mad arp enable to enable ARP MAD.
Use undo mad arp enable to disable ARP MAD.
