the unit or the disc.
Create chapters

Press CHAPTER during play.
• "CHAPTER" lights on the Front Display for a few seconds.
• Press SKIP or SKIP
• You cannot activate this function when recording and playing at the
same time.
Notes:
• You can play and edit the created chapters. (pp. 57-62)
• For other notes concerning the chapter, see page 57.
Changing audio during play

You can change the audio being received or played.

While playing DVD-RAM

Notes:
• The audio cannot be changed while Time Slip is used.
• You may be unable to change the audio when you have connected the
unit to an AV receiver through the DIGITAL AUDIO OUT terminal and
"Dolby Digital" is set to "Bitstream". If this occurs:
- Change "Dolby Digital" to "PCM" (p. 69), or "Bitstream."
- Connect also with an audio cable (pp. 14-15) and change the input on
the receiver.

While playing DVD-Video

You can change the audio channel number each time you press
the button. This allows you to change things like the soundtrack
language.
