Keep Warm Function

Each zone is equipped with a keep warm function that is designed to
keep food at a stable temperature. This allows the serving of food to
be delayed and also for the melting of butter or chocolate. The "Keep
warm" function is available between "0" and "1" heat settings and is
shown on a cooking zone indicator as " ".
To activate the keep warm function
Switch the hob on if necessary and then simply touch the desired
zone's indicator (5) and set the power level using the heat setting
slider sensor (2) to " ". This level is between heat levels "0" and "1".
Due to the potential for the spread of bacteria it is not advisable to
keep food warm for too long. The keep warm function's duration is
limited to two hours in order to keep food as safe as possible.
To deactivate the keep warm function
Touch the desired zone's indicator, unless adjustment is already
active (indicated by a decimal point next to the zone indicator's
power level), and then use the heat setting slider sensor (2) to set
the power to "0" or a higher heat setting if required.
Please note: The keep warm function also works on the left hand
zones when they are bridged. The same process for activating
the keep warm function applies for the bridged zones. Details on
activating the bridge function are on page 16.
