Partial distortion correction
Precise correction of partial distortion of projected images based on 54 points (in a 6 × 9 grid).
For detailed instructions, refer to "Adjusting Projected Images with Partial Distortion
Correction" (P89).

Disables partial distortion correction.

Reset the marker settings.
With partial distortion correction, checkered or halftone image areas may be affected
by image artifacts.
• With advanced registration, checkered or halftone image areas
may be affected by uneven colors or image artifacts.
• 5-point adjustment enables basic correction of color
misalignment across the screen, by moving adjustment points
in the center and each corner. To correct registration only in
certain areas, try manual adjustment.
• Any values you set in 5-point adjustment are retained if you
subsequently perform manual adjustment. For more precise
correction after 5-point adjustment, perform manual
adjustment.
• Any manual adjustment values you set before switching to
5-point adjustment are cleared.
• [Advanced registration] setting values are not cleared if you
switch lenses. However, on startup after you switch lenses, a
message is displayed requesting you to confirm advanced
registration settings if, for any adjustment point, [Advanced
registration] setting values differ from defaults.

Using an adjustment point selected with the [ ] / [ ] /
Adjust
[ ] / [ ] buttons, press the [ ] / [ ] / [ ] / [ ]
buttons to align vertically and horizontally.
Displays a chart to assist in adjustment. Watch the
Chart
chart as you fine-tune the position.
