SATA 3.0 Connections
Ten SATA 3.0 ports (I-SATA0-5, S-SATA0-3) are provided on the X10DRX. I-
SATA0-5 are supported by the Intel PCH and S-SATA0-3 are supported by the
Intel SCU.
I-SATA4/5 can be used with Supermicro SuperDOMs. These are yellow SATA DOM
connectors with power pins built in and so do not require external power cables.
Supermicro SuperDOMs are backward-compatible with regular SATA HDDs or
SATA DOMs that need external power cables.
