1. Description.
The WSD12-LVD is a datalogger with 3 input channels to acquire global solar radiation, wind speed and direction, with storage
functionality of samples acquired.
2. Configuration.
The signal coming from the solarimeter, with W/m² as unit of measurement, is connected to the first input channel (
channel is sampled wind direction expressed in degrees, meanwhile on channel CH3 is sampled the pulse signal coming from
anemometer to measure the wind speed in m/sec.
NOTE: wind direction is related to pole position: zero is obtained when the arrow tip and pole are pointed in the same direction,
with opposite versus of pole fixing (
be rotated.
To perform this operation the arrow tip must be fixed in the desired position then issue the 6 + 6 command (
) to datalogger. The new position will be saved as "zero".
