The Snap Server® 14000 Motherboard Tray Assembly

Shutting Down the Server

Shut down the server.

Shut down the server before you make any repairs. Improper shutdown may

lead to loss of data or physical harm.
Turn off the power modules.

Make sure the switch on each power module is in the off position.
Disconnect the AC power cords from the back of the server.

Disconnect the SCSI and Ethernet connectors.

Removing the Motherboard Tray Assembly

At the back of the server, loosen the 2 thumbscrews on either side of the

motherboard tray assembly.
Pull the motherboard tray assembly out of the server.

Place the motherboard tray assembly on a grounded, padded surface.
