Salsa

Salsa is a hearty mixture of solid and liq-
uid ingredients blended and marinad-
ed to produce a wonderful fl avour. It is
poured over any vegetable or cereal dish-
es or can be used as a dip for fruit or veg-
etables.
Classic salsa
• 1 tomato (roughly chopped)
• 1 spring onion
• 1 handful of fresh coriander leaves
• 1 clove garlic
• sea salt to taste
• ¼ chilli (jalapeño) if desired
Pulse until the desired consistency is
reached.
Mango salsa
• 1 1/2 cups of mango (in small pieces)
• 1/2 cup of fresh pineapple (in small
pieces)
• 1/2 cup of chopped onion
• 1/2 cup of fresh coriander leaves
• 1 tsp of fresh hot chillis (chopped)
• lime juice to taste
• sea salt to taste
Pulse until the desired consistency is
reached.
Coriander salsa
• 1 1/2 cups of fresh coriander (stalks
and leaves)
• 2 cloves garlic
• 1 tsp of fresh jalapeño or other hot
chilli (chopped)
• 1 tsp of olive oil
• lime juice to taste
• cumin (ground) to taste
• sea salt to taste
Pulse until the desired consistency is
reached.
