DANGER Dangerous voltage!
Faulty electrical installation or
excess mains voltage may re-
sult in an electric shock.
– Do not immerse the product itself nor
the mains cable or plug in water.
– Never touch the plug with damp
hands.
– Never attempt to grasp an electric ap-
pliance once it has fallen in water. In
such a case, immediately disconnect
the mains plug.
– Before cleaning disconnect the mains
plug from the electricity supply and al-
low the product to cool off complete-
ly.

This product has sharp blades.
Improper handling of the
product may lead to injury!
– Take care when screwing the container
onto the blending or grinding attach-
ment and when cleaning the blades!
All parts other than the motor unit (1) can
be washed by hand. In order to make
cleaning easier the container and the
blending/grinding attachment should be
washed immediately after use so that left-
over food does not have a chance to dry
on.
The blending/grinding containers (3/6)
are made of robust hygienic, highly stable
plastic. Their smooth surfaces will look as
good as new for many years if they are
properly cared for.

• Never leave the blending/grinding at-
tachment (2/5) soaking in washing up
water as it might not be seen. This pos-
es a risk of injury! The best thing to do
is to rinse the containers and blending/
grinding attachment (2/5) under run-
ning water. Even though all parts are
dishwasher safe we advise that you
do not place the individual parts in the
dishwasher as they could become brit-
tle and opaque.
• The large white rubber seal on the
blade attachment (2/5) should be left
in its groove wherever possible. If you
wish to replace this seal a spare may
be ordered from your Personal Blend-
er™ Service Centre (see p. 2).
• Keep a damp sponge within reach dur-
ing operation and wipe any splashes
from the motor unit (1). Do not use
aggressive or abrasive cleaning prod-
ucts.
• The rubber feet on the base of the mo-
tor unit (1) prevent the blender from
"wandering" during continuous opera-
tion on most surfaces. Clean the rub-
ber feet regularly in order to maintain
their non-slip properties.
