Personal Blender™ - the speedy blender
Recipes
A. Smoothies
Basic recipe
You can develop your own creations us-
ing this basic recipe for smoothies.
Take:
• 120–240 ml of liquid (e. g. water, juic-
es, coffee, yoghurt or soya yoghurt, to-
fu (whisk with 30 ml of water), soya
milk, banana milk*, sunflower seed
milk*, sesame milk*, almond milk* or
cow's milk)
• 1 banana (fresh or frozen, roughly
chopped)
• 1 handful of other fresh or frozen fruit
(all fruits are suitable for your Personal
Blender™)
The more fruit you add the thicker the
drink will be. You can create a pudding-
type dessert or a sorbet by using only 60
ml of liquid.
* You can make your own banana, sunflower seed,
sesame or almond milk very easily with your Per-
sonal Blender™. Blend pieces of banana, seeds or
nuts (soak beforehand) with water in your Personal
Blender™ until there are no more solid pieces to be
seen.
Clever additions
• 2 ice cubes
• e. g. flax or hemp oil or pre-soaked
flax seeds (providers of essential fatty
acids)
• 1 Tbs of pre-soaked seeds or nuts (e.
g. sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, sun-
flower seeds, pre-soaked almonds or
Brazil nuts). – Not all nuts need to be
pre-soaked. Very fatty nuts are already
soft enough.
• 1 Tbs of powdered spirulina, Kamut
grass, barley grass or wheat grass
Date and orange
• 120 ml of freshly squeezed orange
juice
• 1 frozen banana
• 2 Tbs of pre-soaked flax seeds (option-
al) or hemp seeds
• 1 stoned date
• 1 Tbs of powdered spirulina, Kamut
grass, barley or wheat grass
• 2 ice cubes (optional)
To serve: Pour the borscht into a dish.
Garnish with a little avocado yoghurt.
Winter Green Smoothie
• 1/4 l of apple juice
• 1 banana
• 1 Tbs of pre-soaked flax seeds or flax
oil
• 2 mint leaves
• 1–2 tsp of powdered spirulina, Kam-
ut grass, barley or wheat grass (we rec-
ommend Greens of Kamut)
Puree until the desired consistency is
reached.
Red banana cream
• 250 g of yoghurt (dairy or soya)
• 1 banana
• 1/2 cup of fresh or frozen strawberries
• 2 Tbs of pre-soaked flax seeds
• 1 Tbs of honey
Puree until the desired consistency is
reached
