Problem
The picture is not in focus.
The 4800 x 3600 and 2400 x 1800
images are not neat.
Cause
The specimen is not in focus
properly.
The aperture iris diaphragm of the
condenser is open too wide.
The field iris diaphragm is not set
properly.
Lens components of the micro-
scope are contaminated or the
cover glass on the front of the
camera is stained.
The microscope and/or camera
are subjected to vibration during
recording.
The camera is subjected to vibra-
tion during recording.
Remedy
Adjust the focus correctly with the
fine adjustment knob.
Close the aperture iris diaphragm
a little.
Adjust the field iris diaphragm until
the image circumscribes the field
of view.
Clean the objective, camera adapt-
er lens, condenser and/or window
lens of the microscope, or clean
the cover glass on the bottom of
the camera head.
Acquire images in an environment
in which the microscope and cam-
era are not vibrated. It is effective to
use an anti-vibration bench.
