Installation - Quantum, Permobil and Rovi
Installing the base mounting plate to the different brands of wheelchairs.
Quantum (Tools are not required for installation.)

3 Remove the threaded knob (F) from the base mounting
plate (G).
4 Line up the three pegs (H) with the mounting bracket (B)
and slide it down on the pegs.
5 Insert the threaded knob (F) and tighten to secure.
Continue with "Installation - Back Support Assembly," step 7.
Rovi - (10mm wrench and drill with ¼" drill bit are required for installation. Hex key is provided.)

Note: A Recessed Planar Interface Plate must already be installed on the wheelchair and will be referred to as a "base
mounting plate" in these instructions.
If needed, refer to the instructions provided with wheelchair for installation of the Recessed Planar Interface Plate.
3 Line up the back support against the base mounting plate (G) where desired, and mark the location of the four
countersunk holes on the mounting bracket (B).
4 Ensure that the holes are level, and then drill four ¼" holes in the base mounting plate (G) where marked.
5 Use the provided longer flat head screws (J) and the lock nuts (K), and fasten securely with the hex key and the
10mm wrench.
Continue with "Installation - Back Support Assembly," step 7.
