    AVANT L’INSTALLATION Avant d’installer votre appareil, vérifiez qu’il est en parfait état. S’il est endommagé, ne poursuivez pas l’installation et contactez votre service après-vente.     Fonctionnement La hotte est équipée d’un panneau de contrôle doté d’une commande de vitesse d’aspiration et d’une commande d’éclairage du plan de cuisson. Utilisez la puissance d’aspiration maximum en cas de concentration très importante des vapeurs de cuisson. Si vous fermez la hotte, la commande d'aspiration s'éteint automatiquement.

    The hood is designed to be used either for ducting or filter version. BEFORE INSTALLATION Before proceeding with the installation of your appliance, check that it is not damaged. Otherwise, do not proceed with the installation and contact your dealer. You should also make sure that the dimensions of the appliance and its conduit are compatible with your kitchen and ceiling height.

    Detailed installation procedure: The hood can be built‐in under a furniture. Preparing the furniture The stability of the furniture must still be guaranteed after the cut‐outs have been removed. Create the cut‐out according to the installation drawing. Remove any shavings after the cut‐out work is complete. Notes Take the dimensions of your cooker in order to have the range hood centred above it, taking care to comply with the minimum distances below.

    USING YOUR APPLIANCE Ducting version In this case the fumes are conveyed outside of the building by means of a special pipe connected with the flange located on top of the hood. Beware! The exhaust pipe and ring are not supplied and must be purchased apart. In the horizontal runs the exhausting pipe must be slightly slanted (about 10°) and directed upwards to vent the air easily from the room to the outside.

    Operation The hood is fitted with a control panel with a suction speed control and a cooking hob lighting control. Use the high suction speed in cases of concentrated kitchen vapours. If you push the range hood to the end, suction control will automatically turn off. a.

  • Page 26: Cleaning And Maintenance

    CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Beware! Before performing any cleaning or maintenance operation, isolate the hood from the electrical supply by switching off at the connector and removing the connector fuse. Or if the appliance has been connected through a plug and socket, then the plug must be removed from the socket. The cooker hood should be cleaned regularly internally and externally (about once a month).
  • Page 27 Replacing the charcoal filters (for filter version) The hood is supplied with 2 active charcoal filters that trap cooking grease particles. Those filters shall not be used in ducting version. The saturation of the charcoal filter occurs after more or less prolonged use, depending on the type of cooking and how often you clean the grease filters.
  • Page 28 Replacing lamps Disconnect the appliance from the mains. To access the lamp housing, you need to remove the cover first. Warning! Prior to touching the light bulbs, ensure they are cooled down. Remove the damaged light and replace with a new 12 Volt, 20 Watt (Maximum) halogen light made for a G‐4 base.

  • Page 37 UW APPARAAT GEBRUIKEN Leidingversie In dit geval worden de dampen buiten het gebouw geleid door middel van een speciale pijp die verbonden is met de flens op de bovenkant van de afzuigkap. Opgelet! De uitlaatpijp en de ring worden niet meegeleverd en moeten afzonderlijk worden gekocht.
  • Page 38 Werking De afzuigkap is uitgerust met een bedieningspaneel met toetsen voor het afzuigvermogen en voor de kookplaatverlichting. Gebruik de hoge afzuigsnelheid in geval van geconcentreerde keukendampen. Wanneer u de afzuigkap naar binnen duwt, wordt de afzuiging automatisch uitgeschakeld. a. Toets AAN/UIT verlichting. b.

  • Page 39: Reiniging En Onderhoud

    REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD Opgelet! Alvorens enige reinigings- of onderhoudswerkzaamheid uit te voeren, moet de afzuigkap van de netvoeding worden ontkoppeld door middel van de schakelaar van de aansluiting en door de zekering te verwijderen. Wanneer het apparaat via een stekker op de voeding is aangesloten, haal dan de stekker uit het stopcontact.
  • Page 40 De koolstoffilters vervangen (voor de filterversie) De afzuigkap is uitgerust met 2 actieve koolstoffilters die vetdeeltjes uit de kookdampen opvangen. Deze filters moeten niet gebruikt worden in de leidingversie. De verzadiging van het koolstoffilter treedt na enige tijd op en is afhankelijk van het soort bereidingen en van hoe vaak u de vetfilters reinigt.
  • Page 41 De lampen vervangen Ontkoppel het apparaat van de netvoeding. Voor toegang tot de lamphouder, moet eerst de deksel verwijderd worden. Waarschuwing! Controleer of de lampen volledig zijn afgekoeld voordat u ze aanraakt. Vervang het defecte lampje met een nieuw halogeenlampje van 12V -20W (max) voor een G-4 basis.
