5.6 DIGI-WiFi (Wi-Fi Module) Install / Setup

Setup using a Smart Device or PC
(On control panel and then device):
1:
Enter the Engineers menu on the control panel and then
go to "COMMUNICATIONS? -> Data Network Set-up? ->
Program WiFi -> Setup with Wi-Fi Device?" - Press  to
display the SSID and password then go onto your PC or
smartphone.
2:
Connect your device to the control panel WiFi (it
appears as a local WiFi network) and then open a web
browser to see the list of connections available (enter any
web address - it should redirect to this page automatically).
3:
Select the connection /router that you wish to connect
to, enter the router password / key (32 characters MAX)
and then select the 'tick' button shown below.

RED LED
Single pulse: No
Cloud connection.
Single-Double
alternating pulse:
Cloud connected
Double Pulses:
when APP connected
Not Used
AMBER LED
-On at startup.
Also pulses rapidly
during network setup
procedure (steps 1 - 4)
GREEN LED
-Pulses to
indicate local
network traffic

4:
The panel will begin connecting to the selected
router and you will see the animation shown
below.
5:
Go back to your control panel and wait until
the display shows "Connected to Network".
Finally, exit the Engineers menu and close the
browser on your phone / device (the device will
lose connection to the panel at this point).

Manual Setup
(On control panel):
1:
Enter the Engineers
menu on the control panel
and then go to:
"COMMUNICATIONS? ->
Data Network Set-up? ->
Program WiFi" and press

Enter your router SSID
NOTE: DO NOT USE SSIDs
or passwords with spaces
[ ] between letters and
numbers. If this is
necessary – see below for
setup using smart devices.
Press and then

for SSID and Password
