front of the crankcase (left side), below the cylinder
head.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
exhaust emission label is on top of the valve cover
(front left side). The EPA label typically includes the
following:
• Model year
• Engine family, model, and displacement
• Advertised brake horsepower and torque rating
• Emission family and control systems
• Valve lash specifications
• Engine Serial Number (ESN)
• EPA, Onboard Diagnostics (OBD), EURO, and
reserved fields for specific applications
