We have OR52-MULTI modern flames electric fireplace. The remote stopped working but the fireplace can be turned on manually. We replaced the battery and can see a little red light on top of remote but it doesn't work. Does it need to be paired or synced, couldn't find anything in the manual about that. Thanks

Yes, the Modern Flames OR52-MULTI electric fireplace remote needs to be paired again after replacing the battery. Pairing must be completed within 5 seconds or the fireplace will time out of pairing mode.
