A 8 Operation • ELECTROtorque may not used without cool air. • Dry, clean, contamination-free compressed air must be used. • Contaminated and humid compressed air will result in premature bearing wear. • The selected speed must not exceed the maximum allowed revolutions of the instrument to be used.

    Within the scope of the current Delivery and Payment Conditions, KaVo EWL warrants the unit to be free from malfunctions, defects in both materials and workmanship for a period of six months from the date of purchase. At the end of this warranty period, KaVo provides a further 6-month guarantee for faults arising, which can be traced back to deficiencies in materials or the manufacturing process.

  • Page 34 The O-rings on the motor must only be oiled by means of a cotton swab wetted with KaVo mainte- nance spray. Once per week the motor sleeve has to be taken off and the motor housing has to be wiped with a dry cloth.
