Configuring the System Operation Mode
You have to configure gateway operation mode and PCM type, after TCP/IP configuration.

Setting up Gateway Operation Mode
SMG-3200 gateway operates in either of the following 2 operation modes.
☞ Tandem Gateway : SMG-3200 communicates with PBX or KTS over PSTN trunk without
☞ Standalone Gateway : SMG-3200 communicates with analog telephone with PSTN trunk
Configure gateway operation mode of SMG-3200 referring to the following directions.
