5.1 Open the instrument

Step Description
1 To open the battery compartment, use a coin.
2 Remove the batteries.
Repairs
Electrocution hazard. Remove power from the instrument before this procedure is started.
Chemical exposure hazard. Obey laboratory safety procedures and wear all of the
personal protective equipment appropriate to the chemicals that are handled. Refer to the
current safety data sheets (MSDS/SDS) for safety protocols.
Items to collect:
• Coin
• TORX 10 torque screw driver
• Krytox oil (item no. 16004801)
