•This is a comprehensive step-by-step instruction guide on how to install the QLK-150 Permobil M3 Corpus (Feb 2017– Wheelchair manufacture date).

and tested as a system, for use with specific wheelchairs. Q'Straint supply all
the components/hardware required to install the system so the configuration
is the same as that tested and set out in the individual installation instructions.
Occasionally, wheelchairs may have additional components installed which
are not detailed in our installation instructions and which may need to be
temporarily removed in order to gain access to fixing holes or support frames
to enable the attachment of the wheelchair bracket. It is the responsibility of
the installer to ensure that all such wheelchair component(s) are put back in
their original location using the original fixings or fixing of the same size and
grade. Each wheelchair should be test driven after fitment of the bracket, to
ensure it is functioning correctly.

    INSTALLATION PROCEDURE Step 1 - Raise Seating System. Raise the seating system to allow access to the top of the chassis. Step 2 - Remove Thumb Screws. Unscrew and retain the 2 x thumbscrews on the top of the wheelchair chassis, as shown.

    INSTALLATION PROCEDURE Step 5 - Remove Screws. Using a 6mm Allen key remove the 4 x screws as shown. Step 6 - Disconnect Cables. Disconnect the three cables as shown.

    INSTALLATION PROCEDURE Step 7 - Remove Battery Tray Carefully pull the battery tray using the webbing handles- check for any other wires which could prevent the battery tray being released- and disconnect if necessary, making a note of how to reconnect. Step 8 - M12 Bolts.

    INSTALLATION PROCEDURE Step 9 - Fix Bracket. Offer up the bracket (PN QS00728) and connect with the 2 x M12 CSK bolts positioned in the previous step. Secure with 2 x M12 Nyloc nuts and 2 x M12 washers. Hand-tighten initially to attach the components, then use a 19mm spanner and an 8mm Allen Key to finish.

    INSTALLATION PROCEDURE Step 12 - Repeat Steps. Repeat steps 10 and 11 for the right-hand side. Step 13 - Tighten M12 fixings. Fully tighten the 2 x M12 fixings using a 19mm spanner and 8mm Allen Key. Step 14 - Replace Battery Tray. Slide the battery tray back into its home position.

    INSTALLATION PROCEDURE Step 18- Tighten M8 bolts. Ensuring the Side Arm Assy RH is seated correctly, fully tighten the M8 bolt using a 6mm Allen key and 13mm socket, as shown. Step 19 - Repeat Last Step. Turn the chair on the other side and repeat step 18 for the other side.

Once the QLK height is determined, bolt the QLK to the vehicle using the same spacing arrangement to ensure correct bracket alignment.
