MD (1.7-3:1) lenses
I. Mounting
- remove the currently mounted lens by turning-counter clockwise. Note : be very carefull not to drop the lens.
- take the MD(1.7-3:1) zoom lens out of its packing material.
- turn the lens completely into the lens holder (clockwise). The lens will automatically be secured in the lens holder.

II. Operation
- tables, formulas and diagrams to calculate the projection distance range or screen width range are given on
next pages (for 3000 and 3100 series).
- focus the lens by rotating the front lens barrel until the image is clearly focus. Secure the focus position of the
lens with both securing screws.
- adjust the zoom with the zoom adjustment ring until the desired screen width is obtained. Secure the zoom
position with the securing screw.
- when the projector is not in use, it is recommended to put the lens cap on the lens.

To minimize the possibility of damaging the optical coating or scratching exposed lens surfaces, we have developed recommendations for cleaning lenses. FIRST, we recommend you try to remove any material from the lens by blowing it off with clean, dry deionized air. DO NOT use any liquid to clean the lenses.
