    1. Open the package and check that all parts are present and are not damaged. If anything is missing or damaged, please contact X-Tronic immediately for assistance (see back cover for contact information). 2. Place the soldering iron in the soldering iron holder on the unit.

    FUNCTION SETTINGS TEMPERATURE CONVERSION This unit can readout temperatures in either Fahrenheit or Celsius. To change from one to the other, when the unit is powered off, simply press the ▲ button and turn the unit on. The screen will show either C - C or F - F to indicate the unit of measurement being used.
