Remote (Automatic) Operation and Remote Status

Temporary ON Mode allows you to temporarily override your automatic remote control of the system to perform a quick
cleaning of work surface. Temporary ON Mode is only available when the Remote/Standby (L5) light is flashing slowly.
Use of this mode will temporarily BLOCK OR DISENGAGE all other functions.
To initiate:
• Press POWER (On/Off)
When you finish using this feature, press POWER (On/Off) again. All other functions will be unblocked.
Switching power to control the iVac system remotely WILL NOT WORK and can damage the unit.

Remote Operation, Connection and Enabling

iVACs support remote operation using the DB9 port—the connection is made using the AA375 hand-switch or AA175
Remote Foot-pedal or specific Auto-Start cable connection to milling or dust-producing machine.
