Tie-line interface

1. Calling an intercom station of remote extention
exchange
Dial
(access No. for Tie-line interface). After confirm-
ing a dial tone from the remote extension exchange, dial
the station number as follows:

exchange

ing a dial tone from the remote extension exchange, dial
as follows:
Then, paging is performed at the other exchange.
Hold the line and wait for a response.
3. Paging extending over 2 or more exchanges
By using the Selectable Paging funciton, a paging can be
placed over the area of 2 or more exchanges. (For
details, refer to the section describing Selectable Paging.)
4. If 4-digit dialing is employed, all the exchanges con-
nected by tie-line can have the numbering schedule of
4 digits in length.
