REDUNDANT ETHERNET CONFIGURATOR

The Redundant Ethernet Configurator tool is intended for MiCOM Px4x IEDs with redundant Ethernet using PRP
(Parallel Redundancy Protocol), HSR (High-availability Seamless Redundancy), RSTP (Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol)
or Failover. This tool is used to identify IEDs, switch between PRP, HSR, RSTP and Failover, configure their
parameters, configure the redundancy IP address, or configure the SNTP IP address.
3.1

CONNECTING THE IED TO A PC

Connect the IED to the PC on which the Configurator tool is used. This connection is done through an Ethernet
switch or through a media converter.

INSTALLING THE CONFIGURATOR

The Redundant Ethernet Configurator is installed as part of S1 Agile 2.0.1 onwards.
