Callback Security
Determines whether Callback Security is used.
0 = Disable
1 = Enable (not valid if S68=0)
The factory setting is Disable.

Answer Security
Determines whether and which type of Answer Security is used.
0 = No Answer Security
1 = DTE Only
2 = VF and DTE
3 = VF with DTE
The factory setting is No Answer Security.
S70
Originate Security
Determines whether Originate Security is used. If enabled, a DTE password must always be used when originating a call.
0 = Disable
1 = Enable
The factory setting is Disable.
S94
Entry Wait Time
Determines how long the modem will wait for a VF password, a DTE password, or a callback Directory or telephone
number before disconnecting. This S-register affects Answer Security only. The timer is reset for each phase of the
access authorization process.
0 = 10 seconds
1 = 20 seconds
2 = 40 seconds
3 = 60 seconds
The factory setting is 20 seconds.
S95
VF Prompt Type
Determines how the modem prompts the remote dialer to enter a VF password. For Quiet Answer to work, Auto-Answer
Ring Number (S0) must be set to at least 2.
The value of this S-register determines whether the dialer must precede the VF password with the @ or W dial modifier.
0 = Second Dial Tone
1 = Quiet Answer
The factory setting is Second Dial Tone.
S96
DTE Password Entry Attempt Limit
Determines how many attempts to enter a valid DTE password the modem will accept before disconnecting.
0 = 1 attempt
1 = 2 attempts
2 = 3 attempts
3 = 4 attempts
4 = 5 attempts
The factory setting is 1 attempt (no retries).
