TROUBLESHOOTING - AT500H MANUAL TREATER

Problem
Pump will not turn off in AUTO
when seed runs out.
Pump will not turn on in AUTO
Auger overload keeps tripping

Possible Cause
1. Proximity switch is dirty.
2. Proximity switch is set too
sensitive.
1. Proximity switch is not
staying covered.
2. Proximity switch is not
sensitive enough.
1. Seed flow is too high.
2. Too much liquid being
applied.
Solution
1. Clean proximity switch
2. Adjust the pump proximity
switch sensitivity by turning
adjustment screw counter-
clockwise (page 2).
1. Make sure proximity switch is
staying covered with seed.
2. Adjust pump proximity switch
sensitivity by turning the
adjustment screw clockwise
(page 2).

Slow down seed flow.
2.
Lower the liquid rate.

  • Page 2 PROXIMITY SWITCH ADJUSTMENT GUIDE The proximity switch is mounted in the inlet to the adjustable chamber and will detect when seed is present. The proximity switch no longer detects seed it will automatically shut off the pump when all seed has left the hopper. If the proximity switch is not working properly, this can be caused by wear, dust, or even moisture.
