Sending Calls to a Mailbox

Recording a Conversation

If you have a keyset with a RECORD key, you can record your tele-
phone conversations for up to one hour. NVM-Series stores the con-
versation in your mailbox as if it were a recorded message.
Note: In some phone systems, a lit RECORD key means NVM-Series
is busy and you won't be able to record a conversation.
To record a
telephone
conversation

From your i-Series, DS1000/2000,
Portrait 308/824 or ONYX/DS01 keyset:
1. Establish the call.
2. Press RECORD key.
The key lights. Both you and the other
person hear: Recording, then a beep (if
enabled in programming). To stop
recording, press the RECORD key.
From your i-Series SLT:
1. Establish the call.
2. Dial 154.
Both you and the other person hear:
Recording, then a beep (if enabled in
programming). To stop recording,
hang up.
From your Portrait 308/824 SLT:
1. Hookflash.
2. Dial 95.
Both you and the other person hear:
Recording, then a beep (if enabled in
programming). To stop recording,
hang up.
