- Page 4 Backup Battery Replacement This document shows how to replace a backup battery in a DFS 700. The backup battery should be replaced routinely every 12 months to ensure continuity of data collection and DFS parameter settings. (1) Remove both grey covers on the rear of the DFS 700 door.
