11. MAINTENANCE

■ 11.1 Periodical Check-up
A periodical maintenance once a half year will be needed, along with calibration if
necessary, due to possible aging under different operating conditions. Calibrate the
product in a defined method or at a calibration institution.
Refer to the periodical check items below.
(1) Appearance (scratches, cracks, deformation, corrosion, etc.)
(2) Corrosion of the pressure inlet
(3) Clogging at the air inlet
(4) Output check with a reference pressure gauge and a measuring instrument
(5) Insulation between the case and all terminals tied (100MΩ or more at 50V DC)
(6) Leakage check and thread re-tightening
(7) Waterproof check and fastening of the cable, gland, terminal box and the like
■ 11.2 Zeroing
The zero point of this product can be adjusted without removing the parts (rubber
cover and zeroing screw). Turn the zeroing screw on the case side while gently
pushing it with the cross slot driver.

Only an appearance check is allowed in a hazardous area.
All other maintenance work must be performed in the "Non-
hazardous Area" and never in the Hazardous Area.
Avoid electrostatic charge.
When cleaning the exterior, use a soft, damp cloth.
Do not use thinner or benzene.
Otherwise, deterioration or malfunction may result.
