Secure sufficient space around the product for maintenance.
Wrap a tapered male pipe thread with sealing tape to prevent
leakage.
When using a parallel pipe thread, make sure that there is no
dust, dirt or scratches on the gasket and sealing surface before
installation to prevent leakage.
If there is a risk of surge pressure, use a joint with throttle and a
dampener.
Avoid installing the zeroing screw and its peripheral
components where water is splashed directly.
For the terminal box type, do not face the cable outlet upward to
prevent water from entering through the cable.
Install the EJ15 during piping so that it is grounded from the
main body (fitting) as it is required to do so. (For the terminal
box type, the grounding from the EJ15 body can also be
obtained from the M4 screw portion provided on the outer
terminal box). In the event that the grounding is unavailable
from the piping installation (EJ15 body), obtain it by using EJ15
earth terminal (shielded cable wire for M12 connector type, and
ground terminal of the terminal block for terminal box type).
However, when both the EJ15 body and earth terminal are
grounded, provide single point grounding so that there is no
potential difference.
If the temperature of the measuring medium exceeds the
operating temperature range, take heat dissipation measures at
your side to mitigate the effect from such temperature, such as
using a cooling device or installing a pipe siphon, instead of
directly inserting such medium into the EJ15 body.
If the temperature of the measuring medium is lower than the
ambient temperature (there is a temperature difference between
the measuring medium and the main body), take measures to
prevent condensation, such as extending the piping so that the
temperature of the measuring medium is equal to the ambient
temperature of the main body.
