Do not pull the cable with excessive force. Also, do not bend
the cable excessively.
Do not separate the M12 connector while the power is on.
When an insulating barrier is used, install the EJ15 during
piping so that it is grounded from the main body (fitting) as it
is required to do so (For the terminal box type, the grounding
from the EJ15 body can also be obtained from the M4 screw
portion provided on the outer terminal box). In the event that
the grounding is unavailable from the piping installation (EJ15
body), obtain it by using EJ15 earth terminal (shielded cable
wire for M12 connector type, and ground terminal of the
terminal block for terminal box type). However, when both the
EJ15 body and earth terminal are grounded, provide single
point grounding so that there is no potential difference.
Check the specifications of this product before installation to
determine the rated value of the power supply to use. Ensure
that the internal resistance of the external device is within the
rated operating range of the load resistance applied to the
product.
When soldering, be careful that the iron does not touch the
case or the sheath of the cable.
The protection class of the nut for the optional M12 connector
cable may be impaired if it is not tightened sufficiently. Also,
be sure to tighten the nut (or screw) securely (tightening
torques: 0.4 to 0.5 N · m) as they may become loose due to
vibrations. Do not perform wiring when the power is turned on.
