■ 7.1 Cable Gland and Transmission Cable (crimp terminal) for Terminal
Box Type
Cable glands, cables and crimp terminals (round type) are not supplied with this product
(for terminal box type) and need to be prepared according to the following cable outlet
specifications.

7.1.1 Prepare a cable gland that conforms to the specifications of the cable outlet (JIS
F 8801 Type B G1/2) and conforms to IP65 or higher. Select a cable gland made
of metal in accordance with intrinsically safe requirements.
7.1.2
Transmission cable to be used between the terminal box sensor and safety
barrier should have two or more cores (or a shielded wire if grounding from the
pipe (EJ15 body) is unavailable), outside diameter matching the cable gland size,
and the lead wire with a conductor cross-sectional area (core wire) matching the
crimp terminal. The cable should also matches withstanding voltage between
cable conductors (core wires) and between the conductor and ground.
Moreover, use the cable that has less allowable parameters (see "3.2 Intrinsically
Safe Specifications") than those provided as external wiring of Intrinsically Safe
Circuits (will vary depending on your safety barrier).
