7.1.5 Install the cable gland to the cable outlet (refer to the instruction manual of the
gland you selected for the installation method).

Remove the protective seal attached to the cable outlet before
use.

The protection rating of this product is guaranteed only when
the components are properly assembled. Tighten the body nut
of the cable gland securely to prevent water from entering as it
will affect the waterproof performance.

When tightening the body nut of the cable gland, hook a wrench
on the width across a flat section of the cable outlet so that no
excessive force is applied to the cable outlet.
7.1.6 Open the terminal box cover, pass the cable through the cable gland seal, and
insert it all the way into the cable outlet (see "Figure 7-2").
7.1.7 Tighten the seal nut to seal the cable gland (see "Figure 7-2").


When tightening the seal nut, hook a wrench on the width
across a flat section of the cable outlet so that no excessive
force is applied to the cable outlet.

After tightening the seal nut, pull the cable lightly to make sure
that it does not come loose.
