Check the direction of rotation of the pump as follows: 1. Atlas Copco preferred method would be to visibly check the fan on the motor for direction of rotation. If this is not possible, temporarily remove any guard over the drive coupling or belt. -

Fluorinated materials in the pump may include greases and seals. The pump may have overheated if it was misused, if it malfunctioned or if it was in a fire. Atlas Copco Safety Data Sheets for fluorinated materials used in the pump are available on request: contact your supplier or Atlas Copco. -

Standard/Safe Area pumps must be internally inspected every three years and overhauled when necessary. We recommend that pump overhaul be carried out at an Atlas Copco Service Centre. Contact your supplier or your nearest Atlas Copco company to arrange for the overhaul. -
