Maintenance Terminal Connection
To connect a maintenance terminal:

Connect a standard serial cable from the maintenance terminal COM port
to the UTU's front panel console port. The pinouts for the console port
and maintenance terminal connectors are shown in

Configure the maintenance terminal as follows:
•
VT100 Emulation or ANSI (if VT100 is not available)
•
Clear the modem initialization string if supported by the terminal
•
Bits per second: 9600 (default) or 19200 bps (recommended)
•
Data bits: 8
•
Parity: None
•
Stop bits: 1
•
Flow Control: None
