Troubleshooting

Problem
Vanguard Engine won't start
Blower(s) does not run.
Agitator does not run.
Machine is on, yet no material
comes out of hose.

Likely Cause
Fuel switch in off position.
Fuel not in gas tank.
Choke not engaged.
Battery is dead.
Advanced Engine issue
VANGUARD is not running at
full throttle.
Blower drive belts loose or
missing.
Blower air inlet port obstructed. Clear obstruction.
Main Circuit Breaker tripped.
Blower has to be on for agitator
to come on.
Main Circuit Breaker tripped.
Slide gate is closed.
Insulation blockage in hose.
Blower is off.
Air pocket in hopper is
preventing insulation from
feeding into agitators.
Airlock seal is worn.
Airlock has an obstruction
preventing insulation from
exiting.
Instruction Manual
Remedy
Place lever in the ON position
by moving to the right towards
engine.
Refill gas tank with Premium
Unleaded gasoline.
Engage Choke.
Charge or replace battery.
Contact Intec or local
VANGUARD repair facility.
Move throttle to the full HIGH
position.
Replace belts.
Reset Circuit Breaker.
Turn blower on.
Reset Circuit Breaker.
Open slide gate.
Turn system off, remove hose
and clear blockage.
Turn blower on.
Shut down, press in E-Stop.
Redistribute insulation material
inside hopper.
Inspect airlock seals for cuts
and wear.
Shut down, press E-stop in,
then remove obstruction.
