Problem
A) The sprayer does
not start.
B) Sprayer starts but
does not draw in paint
when PRIME/SPRAY
knob is set to PRIME.
C) Sprayer draws up
paint
but
pressure
drops when gun is
triggered.

Possible cause
Sprayer not plugged in
ON/OFF switch set to OFF
Sprayer turned off while still under
pressure
No voltage
Extension cord damaged or with
too low a capacity
Fuse blown in sprayer
Problem with the motor
Paint bucket empty or suction tube
not totally immersed in paint.
Suction set clogged
Suction tube loose at inlet valve
Inlet valve stuck
Outlet valve stuck
Inlet valve worn or damaged
PRIME/SPRAY valve clogged
Spray tip worn
Suction set screen clogged
Gun filter clogged
Paint too heavy or coarse
Inlet valve assembly damaged or
worn

Solutions
Plug sprayer in.
Turn ON/OFF switch to ON.
Turn pressure control knob to maxi-
mum pressure (+), or relieve pressure
by turning PRIME/SPRAY valve to
PRIME.
Test power supply voltage.
Replace extension cord.
Take sprayer to qualified workshop.
Take sprayer to qualified workshop.
Refill bucket or immerse suction tube in
paint.
Clean suction set.
Clean tube connection and securely
tighten it.
Clean inlet valve. Inlet may be stuck
from old paint. Depress pusher stem to
release.
Outlet may be stuck from old paint. Re-
move inlet valve. Insert pen or pencil in
housing to release.
Replace inlet valve.*
Take sprayer to qualified workshop.
Replace spray tip with a new one.**
Clean the suction set screen.
Clean or replace proper filter. Always
keep extra filters on hand.
Thin or strain paint.
Replace inlet valve.*
