Required room temperature
greatly exceeded.
Excessive room
temperature fluctuations.
Temperature rises instead
of dropping.
Room temperature too high
during setback mode.
DHW cylinder does not heat
up.
The DHW at the draw-off
points is not reaching the

CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEMS
Cause
Thermostatic valves on the radiators
are set too low.
Temperature for heating mode is set
too low.
System is in summer mode.
Flow temperature controller on
additional heat source set too low.
Air in the heating system.
Installation location of the outdoor
temperature sensor is unfavourable.
Radiators become too hot.
If the remote control is installed in the
reference room, the installation
location of the remote control is
unfavourable, e.g. external wall, close
to window, in a draught ...
Temporary influence of external heat
on the room, e.g. from solar exposure,
room lighting, TV, fireplace, etc.
Incorrect time set.
The building retains a lot of heat.

DHW temperature
on heat source
not set too low.
DHW program incorrectly set.
The DHW heating configuration does
not suit this heating system.
Mixer set lower than the required DHW
temperature.
Solar system set incorrectly.
VOGEL
&
Remedy
Set the thermostatic valves higher.
When the thermostatic valves are fully open, set a higher
temperature for heating mode.
Switch system over to winter mode ( Chapter 5.2.3,
page 19).
Set flow temperature controller higher ( operating
instructions for the heat source).
Bleed the radiators and the heating system.
Contact contractor to install the outside temperature
sensor at a suitable installation location.
Set temperature for the operating mode concerned lower.
Set temperature for all operating modes lower.
Set thermostatic valves in adjoining rooms lower.
Contact contractor to install the remote control at a
suitable installation location.
Contact contractor to install the remote control at a
suitable installation location.
Setting the time.
Set an earlier switching time for setback mode.
Switch from DHW reduced to DHW.
Check the settings on the programming unit.
Set DHW program.
Contact contractor to check the settings.
If you are in doubt, contact your contractor to come and
