Before installing, it is essential to observe the installation and operating instructions
for the product in which the Wilo-Smart Connect Module BT is used!
DANGER

• Check whether all connections are voltage-free!
The Wilo-Smart Connect Module BT is plugged into the product Wilo-Connectivity In-
terface. It can be fixed in various ways depending on the product:

using locking
ƒ
with screws
ƒ
product-specific
fixation with locking
With some products the module can be fixed using locking. The interlock is part of the
product and not part of the module.
Fixation with screws
Optionally, the Wilo-Smart Connect Module BT can be fixed with the self-tapping
screws included in the scope of delivery. To do this, press the plugs out of the screw
holes from the underside with a pointed object. Then, insert the module into the slot
provided and screw the screws into the product through the holes provided in the mod-
ule housing.
Product-specific screwed connection
Certain installation situations or other product-specific requirements may necessitate
fixing, for example by means of a separate cover etc. Observe the product installation
and operating instructions for this!
The Wilo-Smart Connect Module BT can be set through the product with which it is op-
erated. As soon as the Wilo-Smart Connect Module BT is plugged into the interface a
further settings menu item appears in the display (if available).
NOTICE
Details of where the new menu can be found in the display are included in the in-
stallation and operating instructions for the respective product.
The following settings can be made via the menu:

Bluetooth – ON/OFF
The Wilo-Smart Connect Module BT Bluetooth signal can be switched on and off. If
the signal is switched off, no connection to the module is possible.
ƒ
Connectable – ON/OFF
Establishing a connection can be prevented if this feature is set to "OFF". However,
the module can be found by a Bluetooth search.
ƒ
Dynamic PIN – ON/OFF
A connection from a mobile terminal for controlling the product requires a PIN to
be entered for authentication.
ON:
A new PIN is always dynamically generated and shown in the product display each
time a connection is established.
OFF:
Each time a connection is established, the last four digits of the Wilo-Smart Con-
nect Module BT S/N number are used as the PIN.
The S/N number is printed on the Wilo-Smart Connect Module BT rating plate. This
is called a "static PIN".
Fig. 1 shows the rating plate on a Smart Connect Module BT. The "static PIN" for
the module in this example is 6789.
