Testing and Troubleshooting
Possible Cause
Contrast not adjusted properly
• Loss of AC mains
• AC brownout
• Blown secondary fuse
• Open transformer primary/secondary
NAC open
NAC shorted
NAC bypassed
• +24 shorted to earth ground
• -V shorted to earth ground
• F+, R+, R-, F- of an NAC shorted
to earth ground
• IDC+ or IDC- of an IDC zone
shorted to earth ground
PCM-1 and/or PZE-4B module has Rev. 1.0
firmware. Upgrade to Rev. 3.x or higher
Two or more LED-3/4s installed with same
dipswitch address
• Module removed from system*
• Module failed
• Module address changed
• LED module added but system not
reconfigured
• LED module address changed
