Intended Use

Intended Purpose

Intended Purpose
The trolley by Gebrüder Martin is a device carrier. It is a mobile system component for carrying
and making available devices by Gebrüder Martin for electrosurgical use, and it can be
connected to the power grid of the operating theater.
Intended Use
Mobile device carrier for carrying certain HF surgery devices, an electrosurgery unit, an Argon
Beamer and the corresponding gas cylinder, and a fume suction system, for storage of various
HF accessories, for attachment of a foot switch, and for supplying the devices with energy.
3.2

Users

The Instructions for Use are intended for trained medical staff, taking into account the training
and knowledge of the intended user group, and ensure safe and proper use of the product.

The maXium smart Cart may be used only by expert medical staff qualified to use the system
based on their specialized training, knowledge and experience, as well as their knowledge of
the relevant regulations.

If the maXium smart Cart does not work properly and cannot be operated safely, it must be
marked as non-operational and put out of operation. A technical inspection must be
performed.
