Copyrights and licenses

For the purpose of operating and controlling the communication module, Miele uses pro-
prietary or third-party software that is not covered by open-source licensing terms. This
software/these software components are protected by copyright. The copyright powers of
Miele and third parties have to be respected.
Furthermore, this communication module contains software components which are distrib-
uted under open-source license conditions. The open-source components contained in the
machine along with the corresponding copyright notices, copies of the licensing conditions
valid at the time, and any additional information can be accessed locally by IP via a web
browser (https://<IP address>/Licenses). The liability and warranty provisions of the open-
source licensing conditions as stated therein apply only in relation to the respective rights
holders.

Payment system

The tumble dryer has the option of being controlled by a payment system (e.g., for opera-
tion in self-service laundromats). Payment systems for cash-free transactions and payment
systems with mechanical or electronic coin validators are available as optional accessories
for individual target groups.
The programming required for connecting a payment system must be carried out by Miele
Customer Service or an authorized Miele dealer only. An external power supply is not re-
quired for a payment system.
