9 Handling Data in Alpha OAE+
9.1 Function buttons
To enter or edit data, select the characters and digits from the keypad.
Tap Shift (
) to type uppercase letters.
Double-press Shift (
) to turn Caps Lock on.
Press abc (
) or çêü (
) to enter special characters.
Press 123,? (
) to enter numbers.
Press (
) to move the cursor.
OK (

to confirm. This action will take you to the next mandatory field.
Patient Search
Enter the patient's name.

to search.
Press sort (
) to change the sort order.
Press up / down (
Press test view (
) to view the patient's test list.
General Buttons
Use the main function buttons to return to a previous screen, view help, go home, confirm an action, or toggle search criteria.
Press return (
) to return to the previous screen.
Press help (
) to see help information.
Press home (
) to go to the home screen.
Press OK (
) to perform these functions: Confirm / Save / Go to next field / Go to next screen.
