Some of these parameters can be set by a user (with appropriate privileges) while others are preset by BrainZ Instruments Limited before the instrument leaves the factory. Preparation for use Screen saver The BRM2 Brain Monitor includes a screen saver that activates after a period of inactivity during an assessment. You can set the screen saver to require the entry of a user name and password to unlock it (to secure the display from unauthorized personnel).

Using the BRM2 Brain Monitor Managing data files During an assessment, the BRM2 Brain Monitor records all EEG data, patient details and events into a set of digital files on the machine's internal storage (hard disk drive). These files can be grouped together and compressed into a single archive file.

Please note the following cleaning instructions and warnings. Monitor (including touchscreen) and Isolation Unit Clean the Monitor and Isolation Unit by wiping with a soft cloth dampened with detergent and water.
