Maintenance

Make sure your Positioning Jacks are maintained on a regular basis. Dirt is the single greatest cause of
failure in Hydraulic Systems. Keep the Positioning Jacks clean and well lubricated to prevent foreign
matter from entering the system. If the Dollies have been exposed to rain or snow, sand, or grit they
must be cleaned and dried before use.
Daily: Keep the Car Dollies clean and dry; if they get dirty or wet, clean them.
Daily: Any product that operates abnormally shall be removed from service until repaired by a
qualified repair service center. Inspect for:
o Cracked or damaged Housing or Frame components.
o Malfunctioning Swivel Heads or Adjusting Screws.
o Excessive wear, bending, or other damage.
o Loose Hardware.
o Leaking Hydraulic Fluid.
o Modified or altered equipment.
o Scored or damaged Piston Rod.
Daily: If the product is accidentally subjected to an abnormal load or shock, it must be taken out
of service immediately and be inspected by a qualified service center.
Monthly: Lubricate the outer sides of the Left Frame that slides through the Right Frame with
White Lithium Grease.
Monthly: Perform the Bleed Procedure detailed below.
Annually: An annual inspection is to be performed on the Car Dollies and any damaged, or worn
parts or labels are to be replaced with the manufacturer's specified parts.
