1.1 Product Overview
The RG-S3760E series switches are the next generation box-type Layer 3 switches introduced by Ruijie Networks.
Integrated with high performance, high security, and multiple services, the RG-S3760E switches are mainly
applicable to the convergence layer of large-scale networks to provide line-speed exchanging and complete QoS
services, and to ensure the undelayed transmission of key data by applying different traffic classification rules to
different services. The S3760E series switches can provide flexible medium interfaces and can meet the connection
requirements of different medium in network constructions.

The extension module slot supports M3000E-02SFP/GT and M3000E-STACK modules. The M3000E-02SFP/GT
module extends 2 1000M SFP fiber/copper combo ports, and the M3000E-STACK mudule provides 2 full-duplex
stack ports.
The 1000Base-X SFP port and the corresponding 10/100/1000Base-T adaptive Ethernet port form a fiber/copper
combo port. That is, only one port in the fiber/copper combo port is available at a particular time.Table 1-2 shows the
mappings between two ports that form an fiber/copper combo port.
