Installing the Gateway

1. Position the DIN rail bracket over the two mounting holes on the back of the gateway.
2. Attach the DIN rail bracket to the back of the gateway by using two M3 6mm countersink screws, provided.
Use a #2 Philips head screwdriver to torque each screw to 5-8 inch-pound.
Installing the DIN Rail Bracket on Cisco IG21R Rugged IoT Gateways or Cisco
IG31R Rugged IoT Gateways
IG21R and IG31R gateways use the DIN rail bracket to mount on a rail horizontally or vertically. The DIN
rail bracket attaches to an adapter plate that you install on the gateway.
To install the DIN rail bracket on these gateways, follow these steps:
1. Perform these actions to attach the adapter plate to the gateway, as shown in
Adapter Plate to the IG21R or IG31R, on page
a. Position the adapter plate over the four mounting holes on the back of the gateway.
