Ifanadverseeventoccurs,disconnectthehumidifierpowersupplyimmediately.
•  A fteraperiodofactivityand/orduetowaterspecifications,becauseoftheformationoflimescaleinsidetheboiler,the
electrodesmaycomeclosertogetherand/orclosertothewallsoftheboiler,formingpotentialelectricalconductors
which,intheabsenceofwater,mayleadtoanincreaseintemperature(causingthesurfacesoftheboilertobecome
black)andcausetheboilerwalltomelt,leadingtotheleakageoflivewater(replace the hydraulic unit);

• Intheeventofwaterleakage,disconnectthehumidifierpowersupplyimmediately.
• Checkand,ifnecessary,replacethehydraulicunitsealinggaskets.
• Ifthetankiscompromised,replacetheentirehydraulicunit.
Checking the status of the humidifier
Performthefollowingscheduledchecksonthehumidifier:

At first start-up Makesuretherearenoleaksafteranhourofcontinuousoperation.
When changing parts Makesuretherearenoleaksafteranhourofcontinuousoperation.
• Makesurethehumidifierworksproperly(basedontheinstructionsprovidedinthismanual);
Every 5 days • Makesuretherearenoleaksinthehydraulicsystem;
• Makesurethereisnounusualoperation.
• Makesuretherearenoblockagesinthewaterdrain;
Every 30 days • Makesurethewaterdrainseffectively;
• Remove any limescale residue from inside the drain.
•  M akesurenottoomuchlimescaleresiduehasbuiltupinsidethehydraulicunit;
•  W ashtheinsideoftheboilerwitha20%concentrationofaceticacid,removinglimescalefromthe

11.2 Regular cleaning of the product and its components

• Drainthehumidifier,followingtheinstructionprovidedinsection"8.2 MANUAL WATER DRAINAGE" ON PAGE 29;
• Disconnect the machine power supply using the external isolator;
•  O pentheAHUandapproachthehydraulicunit,removingthetankcoversfromtheunitasdescribedinparagraph"11.3
CLEANING THE BOILER" ON PAGE 36;
• Unscrewthemanifoldfromthefilling/dischargeunit;
• Remove any pieces of limescale;
• Disconnecttheinletsolenoidvalve,removethefilteratthebottomandthoroughlycleanitagain;
• Reassemble the inlet solenoid valve;
• Re-attachthefilling/discharge unit manifold.
